Did you know that over 170 years ago there was actually a whaling station at Port Gregory. It’s amazing to have a little bit of history right here at the beach!
There’s actually been quite a lot of artefacts that have been discovered here on the beach over the years. Checkout this document from the WA Museum which documents an archaeological dig that was performed at the site.
